Filippo Barbieri

Filippo joined GTA Law Firm in March 2022, where he completed his legal internship, dealing mainly with contract law, civil litigation, and corporate compliance.

During the same period, he attended the Master’s Degree course in “Law and Sport: The lawyer in the management of sports relations and phenomenon” at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, continuing his specialization in sports law, which he began in his final years of the university studies at the University of Trento.

After obtaining his qualification to practicing as a lawyer at the Court of Appeal of Venice in 2024, he began working with the “Sports Business” department of a leading law firm in the sector, providing legal assistance and advice on compliance, contracts, litigation and immigration law to all stakeholders in the sports world (including teams, sports clubs, athletes, sponsors, event organizers, and promoters, both national and international), with expertise in motorsports, football, basketball, and tennis field.

Following the entry into force of Legislative Decree No. 39/2021 (so-called “Sport Reform”), he has advised various professional and non professional sports clubs on the drafting and implementation of the Organizational and Control Models for sports activities, serving as Safeguarding Officer and providing training on the subject.

Since 2023, he has been a member of AIAS (Italian Association of Sports Lawyers) and, since June 2025, a member of the Youth Commission of the latter.
Since September 2025, he has been working with GTA Law Firm, focusing mainly on sports law practice, as well as providing legal assistance and advice to companies on compliance and contracts.
